These words came to me yesterday:
I examined myself and was displeased with what I saw:
misguided actions, cloudy intentions,
words motivated by something other than love.
I wiped the glass and looked again
in hopes of a clearer view
but the same image appeared.
Is the glass faulty
or is it me?
