…for life. Every day that I wake up and get to take a shower and go to work, socialize with friends and come home and sit on the couch is a true gift. Thank you God. An unneeded reminder about the preciousness of life came upon hearing that the Nigerian musical artist DaGrin had passed away. I did not know him at all, but the loss of life always hurts my heart. May he rest in peace, and may God be with his family. Life is short! Please, let’s make our days count.
…for family. I have been dropping by my parents’ place more often in the last couple of weeks (I’m such a mummy and daddy’s girl — no shame in admitting it!) and every time I go there, always unannounced, all my family is there. I love seeing them and gisting and teasing each other.
…that I finally made a move I’ve been wanting to make for years. It may not turn out to be a life-changing moment but I’m happy nevertheless.
…that tomorrow is Friday (which means the weekend is on its way)! It’s been a long week and I am ready for a weekend of sleeping in, socializing and praising God! I haven’t been to church for a couple of weeks (the church is not a good fit for me), but I’ll be there this Sunday by God’s grace.
…the lovely connections made through blogging. I’m so blessed to be able to call some bloggers friends, and I hope that I can one day meet them!
I had hoped to respond to the infidelity post today, but that isn’t going to happen, so I’m thankful that my readers are forgiving of all the promises I make that I don’t keep. I’ll try not to do it again!
