I can’t believe it’s September already! This year will be over in a flash.
A blogger got this from Cosmo magazine:
Listening to: the hum of the air conditioner in my office.
Driving: a 1997 Chevrolet Cavalier part of the time and taking the bus or walking the rest of the time. I need to get my own car!
Shopping fix: I’d like to shop in New York City one day, but first I want a body that can find stuff in any store that catches its fancy. In the meantime, there are two or three stores that I spend my money at.
Signature scent: Nina by Nina Ricci. It’s beautiful, and feminine without being too flowery or cloying. I love it and get compliments on it every now and again, which is always nice.
Necessary extravagance: Purses. I’m still looking for the perfect one, and I buy several a year. And believe it or not I still don’t have the perfect black purse despite owning at least 12 black purses. I haven’t moved into the luxury purse category yet, so I’m not too extravagant with my spending.
Maintenance must-haves: An elastic band for my hair. I’m always putting my hair into a bun. Lipbalm is also crucial to my existence.
Fear factor: I don’t like horror movies at all, and most bugs scare me, especially June bugs.
Currently craving: Something sweet, but instead I’m chewing some sugar-free gum.
Speed dialing: My family’s home number and my sister’s cell phone.
Latest splurge: I don’t really splurge
If I weren’t a: blogger, I’d probably never think I could do other types of writing (writing for magazines, writing a book, etc).
Dreaming of: A good night’s sleep. For the past two days I’ve woken up with eyes that feel like they were open all night long. Does anyone know what I mean? It’s an odd feeling!
